"This connect account cannot currently make live charges. The 'requirements .disabled_reason' property on the account will provide information about why this account is currently disabled. If you are a customer trying to make a purchase, please contact the owner of this site. Your transaction has not been processed."
I can find no help desk, just a bunch of FAQs, none of which fit.
Yes. It apparently took a bit longer for Substack to get everything in place. A couple of days later, my first paid subscriber appeared. Unfortunately, I have several older folks who wish to pay with a check or cash. One 93 year old gentleman sent me four $20 bills in a card. I used my own credit card to award him with a "gift subscription." That seemed to work. Thanks for responding.
Hi Tom 👋 welcome to Substack. As far as I know you can decide whether you want to offer a paid subscription for 5 or 75 dollars. Here's the link to calculate how many subscribers you need that pay 5 to 75 dolllars per month to earn x amount of money per month: https://substack.com/going-paid

Yes. I was working with a coach who was a Medium specialist good but Not enough. Exactly what you’re saying plus maybe accountability for writing posting.

I have a wordpress blog too and am taking an online course in content creation on coursera.

It's about creating an ebook but I guess you would like to know how to create the book itself?

A cohort-based course would be great for you. I offered 2 Medium Kickstarter Courses last year and one for people who want to create their own online courses. Would this be something for you?

Hi Victoria, liked your latest shorts! Side Hustle Club on Medium now has 5K subs on Substack and now goes the paid route too. I guess for us it's best to grow our free subscriber base and then offer more value to paid subs.

Hi Kristina - Just joined Substack and it's up to $8.00 a month or $80.00 a year for new subscribers. Inflation, I guess.
